Course Access FAQs

Legacy is a fancy term that means older or outdated.  It sounds nicer ;)

That's what we're calling our older courses that were recorded on earlier versions of Davinci Resolve that we don't plan on continuing to update.

The legacy courses (our courses from 2022 and before) will be available for the foreseeable future through our legacy platform (legacy.groundcontrol.film)

There you should be able to access any of our past courses or older products you might've purchased like LUTs, assets, and templates.

The only way to get a new account on our new system is to either make a new purchase as a new customer, or to have been sent an email invite from us.

If you previously purchased any of the GC's newer courses, you should've received an email from us on January 15th, 2024, inviting you to create your account.

If you still want to access your legacy courses or products, you will need to log into that account with your same credentials as before: https://legacy.groundcontrol.film

When you want to access your newer courses, you will log into our new platform: www.groundcontrol.film/library

If you have not received an email invite to access your new courses in the new account, please contact us at [email protected]

Our legacy courses are becoming more and more out of date, and we do not plan to update these, nor do we plan to sell them again.

We are going to keep the older courses on the older account to maximize ease of access to our legacy customers.  All new courses will be available through your new account.

We can add that course into your account pretty quickly and easily.
